On the edge of Great Lent, the Church does something beautiful. Before we fast… before we strive… before we begin again… We're asked to forgive.

 The Readings

Gospel – Matthew 6:14–21

“If you forgive… your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

Forgiveness is the doorway to the fast.

Epistle – Romans 13:11–14:4

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand.”

Put on Christ. Step into the light.

We remember Adam outside Paradise—not abandoned, but longing. Lent is the road home.

And the journey begins here:

Face to face.

Heart to heart.

“I forgive you. Forgive me.”
