Sunday Divine Liturgy

12th Sunday of Luke

(Parish Celebration of Theophany)

The Feast of Theophany proclaims that Christ has entered the waters of the world, revealing God’s light within creation. Today’s Gospel asks what happens after the gift is given.

 The Readings

Hebrews 13:7–16

An invitation to remember faithful lives that came before us and to offer our own as a sacrifice of praise. Gratitude is not an afterthought—it is the shape of Christian worship.

Luke 17:12–19

Ten are healed. One returns.

The miracle is not only the cleansing, but the recognition. Thanksgiving becomes the moment of true sight.

As we celebrate Theophany as a parish, we are reminded that Christ continues to reveal Himself—in mercy, in healing, in the ordinary paths we walk each day. The question is not whether grace is given, but whether we turn back to receive it with thanksgiving.

 The waters are blessed.

The heart is invited to respond.

Glory is revealed where gratitude lives.

All are welcome. Come and see.
