Reader’s Matins & Typica

This Sunday, June 28

This Sunday we gather for Reader’s Matins and Typica, hearing St. Paul speak of freedom from sin and life offered to God, and the Gospel of the Roman centurion, whose humble faith amazes Christ.

The centurion does not demand, bargain, or perform. He simply trusts: “Only speak the word, and my servant will be healed.”

A lesson in faith that knows Christ’s authority.

A lesson in humility that draws near without presumption.

A lesson in freedom that becomes life in God.

Come pray with us as we enter the Lord’s Day together.

Readings:

Romans 6:18–23

Matthew 8:5–13
